Learning in technical systems: a Sign based approach
The paper explores the following assumptions:
-
there is no cognition without categorization
- concept formation is sign a mediated process which is extended and developed
in a formal and operational fashion.
- learning is involved with forward and inverse cognition.

Cotesys is a Cluster of Excellence coordinated by Technische Universität München that promotes the collaboration between scientists from various disciplines connecting neurocognitive and neuro-biological foundations to engineering sciences.
