A new section for Readings and Reviews has been created at the ASLab Website. It can be found in the Activities menu.
This section contains four categories of items:
- Readings: Suggested readings releted to the topics of the research group.
- Reviews: Personal comments about some particular text.
- Quotations: Quotations of interest from identified sources.
- Catalogs: Catalogs of recommended materials.

Beyond the Horizon - A New European Action |

Beyond the Horizon (B-T-H) is new so-called 'coordinated action' supported by the Information Society Technologies/Future and Emerging Technologies programme (IST-FET) of the European Commission to identify trends for future european research. The coordinatior of this activity is ERCIM.
The purpose of this action is to provide input about IST-related emerging trends and strategic research areas that require support, through a well-organised, extensive and systematic consultation of the relevant research community throughout Europe, involving the main actors and experts in the related fields. This input will assist the IST/FET programme with establishing its funding priorities for its 'proactive scheme' under the forthcoming 7th Framework Programme.
A public consultation forum has been opened to gather inputs for the 7th FP. Of special relevance for ASLab is the report of the Thematic Group 5: Intelligent and Cognitive Systems.
